Hi everyone, I've been facing this problem everytime I'm trying to install my printer HP C7180, I always get the "windows installer " continous loop everytime I start windows, I've heard its related to .NET frame work, now I've got the .NET 1.1, .NET 2.0 sp2, .NET 3.0 sp2 and .NET 3.5 sp1. I've installed all of them but I'm not sure of the order , (which one should I install first), I'm having the BLUE screen when I'm browsing photos and after installing MS-OFFICE and sometimes when the PC is idle PLEASE HELP? thanks

I recommend you try to uninstall .NET Framework 3.5 SP1, .NET Framework 3.0 SP2, and .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 in Control Panel. Please remove them in this order: .NET Framework 3.5 SP1>>.NET Framework 3.0 SP2>>.NET Framework 2.0 SP2.

After you remove them all successfully, I recommend you reinstall .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 which will automatically setup .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 and .NET Framework 3.0 SP2. You can download .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 here: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=25150

There are some installation tips:
·         Check if there are any anti-virus or antispyware applications running. Make sure they are turned off during installation.
·         Complete or dismiss Windows Updates before installation (but turn on Windows Update service).
·         Clean up your “%temp%” folder (Start>>Run>>%temp%)
·         Run the setup file with Administrator privileges: Right-click the installer > Run as administrator.

If you encounter any error during the installation, you can use this tool to collect the logs: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=e0da314f-6216-4a18-bc6b-7d29cf83af20&displaylang=en
After you run it, you can upload vslogs.cab to an open website like Windows Live SkyDrive or send the it to me (E-mail: v-alsun_at_microsoft_dot_com).

If you can unsure all the .NET Frameworks are healthy, you can try to install the printer.

I hope this helps.
